Gayle admits she is a huge TV junkie—and now she's met her match with Noah Lusky, author of Who's Your TV Alter Ego? The Ultimate Television Character Personality Test. Gayle talks with Noah about his book and takes some of his personality tests to determine which TV characters she is the most like.
In his book, Noah offers a series of personality tests to help readers determine which TV show characters they mirror—whether it's Jerry or Elaine from Seinfeld, Scooby or Shaggy from Scooby Doo or Marcia or Jan from The Brady Bunch. Noah says that the idea for his book came from his love for television shows and his degree in forensic psychology. "The main thrust of forensic psychology is personality assessment," he says. "I was trained in administering personality tests, and I am familiar with a bunch of different kinds of them," he says.
While Noah says that personality tests are usually used to diagnose a mental illness, he discovered that they could also be applied to identifying the personalities of his favorite television characters. "I took some of those concepts and applied them to television and kind of married my two favorite worlds," he says of his book.
