Do you turn to others when you are grappling with a problem? When it comes to making big decisions, do you feel like you don't have a clue? Dr. Robin says your heart can be your best guide when you need direction—but first, your heart has to be trustworthy. "If your heart is bruised, if it is angry, if it is bitter, that is not a heart you can trust," she says. "[Get rid of] whatever is burdening down your heart. You need full access to your heart and then you can trust your heart."
By letting go of pain from past relationships and other emotional clutter, you can once again make your heart trustworthy, honest and free, Dr. Robin says. "You will stop wasting all that time and … what you are going to do is check within," she says. "Once you get in touch and you are directly plugged up to your cleaned up and cleaned out heart, it is your very best friend." Published on August 08, 2007
