It's Tuesday and that means Gayle's sharing what's going on in her world! The TV writer's strike in Hollywood is on the top of Gayle's list—in fact, Gayle says she talked about the strike with Diane Sawyer and others as part of a roundtable discussion on Good Morning America. Getting up at 4:45 a.m. to be on the show wasn't much fun, but Gayle says it was worth it because she got to meet Carrie Underwood and congratulate her on her recent Country Music Award wins.
Gayle's also thinking about the unexpected death of rapper Kanye West's mother, Donda, and keeping Kanye in her thoughts and prayers.
Then, a recent weight gain is causing Gayle some panic, so she's been on a three-day juice fast—she's lost five pounds so far! Gayle says she's hoping to continue losing weight until Thanksgiving…when she'll take a break from dieting.
