Rabbi Shmuley

Do men really know what women want? Famous psychologist Sigmund Freud said even he didn't know! Rabbi Shmuley tries to answer the question and provide some insight into the mind of a woman. "Women are wiser than men; they see situations from a wider perspective and detect subtleties far better," Rabbi Shmuley says. He shares his thoughts on what women really want.

  • Women want to be granted exclusivity by their partner and to know he isn't still looking elsewhere for stimulation, connection and comfort, Rabbi Shmuley says.
  • Women want to be appreciated and to feel special and less inadequate.
  • Women want to get married, though there are rare exceptions. "Having a man state to his family and friends that he has found what he is looking for makes a woman feel adequate and worthy," he says.
  • Women want to be needed. Showing a woman you need her makes her feel not only appreciated and loved, but essential and necessary, Rabbi Shmuley says.
Today's Shmuleyism
"No man will ever be able to fully understand a woman. And that's a good thing, guaranteeing as it does that no man will therefore ever grow bored of women. A woman is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. And that'll give you a lifelong journey of discovery."
