As an internationally acclaimed intuitionist, Jon Stetson has more than 25 years of experience observing people's thought processes and entertaining people on stage by reading people's minds. Jon talks to Dr. Oz about what he does and how he says he's able to understand what people are thinking.
With a client list that includes President Bush, Donald Trump and the king of Sweden, Jon has performed for people around the world. He considers himself a comedian, speaker, mentalist and interactive entertainer. Although he started off as a magician, Jon says he was inspired to move into something further. "I moved beyond the normal array of tricks and set the record for exploring the human mind," Jon says.
Jon feels that the way humans process their thoughts is changing over time. "At one time, we walked the earth with nothing but our intuitions and our instincts to get us around," Jon says. "I really feel that when we developed language is when we started ignoring our intuitive abilities. After the first words came the first lies."
Through the work that Jon does, he hopes most of all to be able to teach people something about themselves and improve their lives. "My ultimate goal is to have people look at life through a somewhat wider lense by the time they are done," he says.
