The Peetes recently talked with the Rev. Marcia Dyson and her husband, author Michael Eric Dyson, about the couple's political differences when it came to their picks for the 2008 Democratic presidential candidate. Now, Marcia is back, talking to Holly and Rodney more about her support for Senator Hillary Clinton.
As a friend and long-time supporter of Hillary, Marcia says she supports Hillary's decision to make no immediate decision on her next step after it was announced that Senator Barack Obama had enough delegates to win the Democratic presidential nomination. "Since her husband was the president, Hillary Clinton fully understands that it is up to the nominee to choose their running mate," Marcia says. "She will respect whatever decision that Obama has made."
