Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete
As the melting pot that is America continues to grow, the Peetes say teaching children to be tolerant and accepting of people of all races, religions and abilities is critical. "It is something we have to work on and continue to work on," Rodney says. "We have to realize that every moment is a teaching moment."

From making sure their children attend a school full of diversity to modeling tolerant behavior at all times, the Peetes say they're trying to do their part to broaden their children's acceptance of others—and you can too. "Exposing them other cultures [is key]," Holly says. "I call it raising global citizens."

The Peetes also talk with callers about how they try to raise tolerant children and talk about everyday situations that are perfect opportunities for teaching children to be open-minded.
