Shred America
On June 2, 2008, Mike Kosciesza and Arthur Swidzinski set out to trek from Chicago's Millennium Park to New York City's Times Square with one catch—they were on skateboards. The two 20-year-old television students from Columbia College filmed their 35-day journey, which they called Shred America, with the help of two friends. Their goal? To experience America and its people. Gayle talks with Mike and Arthur about their inspiration, their sleeping arrangements and what their parents had to say about their trip.
