Gayle King
Gayle welcomes Sarah Culberson, a West Virginia adoptee who recently discovered she is an African princess. Adopted as a baby into a loving family, Sarah says she decided at age 18 to seek out her birth parents. After finding out her birth mother had passed away, she searched for her father and discovered she is a member of the ruling family of the Mende tribe in Sierra Leone and that by birthright, she is a princess.

Gayle talks to Sarah about meeting her father for the first time, the warm welcome she received on her first trip to Sierra Leone and how the experience has changed her life. Sarah says she has made it her priority to help rebuild Bumpe High School, where her father is headmaster, after rebels ransacked the building during the country's civil war.

"My whole intention is to rebuild that school and to help them get education going again in a school that was so amazing," Sarah says.
