O-White House Leadership Project

In the spring of 2008, more than 3,000 women applied for a chance to share their leadership ideas with some of the most important trailblazers in Washington, D.C. Among those, 80 women were selected to participate in the first-ever O -White House Leadership Project contest—a partnership between The White House Project and O, The Oprah Magazine . Gayle talks with Liz Brody, health and news director for O, The Oprah Magazine , about how the contest is helping woman develop the skills to become leaders in their communities and at the national level.
