Middle East, Charges Against IMF Chief, Budget Cuts and Schools
May 24, 2011
Oprah Radio host Derrick Ashong talks about President Obama's recent speech on U.S. policy in the Middle East. He also discusses the implications of the charges against former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn and whether his treatment is fair or not. Later in the hour, he discusses the budget and how the budget cuts have affected one school in Oakland, California. He is joined by Katherine Thompson, a kindergarten teacher at Futures Elementary School, to discuss her campaign to save the teachers at that school.
