Gayle King
Go ahead and call her Marcia—Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! Maureen McCormick doesn't mind! Gayle talks with Maureen, known best for her role as the oldest daughter in The Brady Bunch, about her struggle with food and drugs after her teenage years as a TV star.

Maureen says she has happy memories of her days on The Brady Bunch, and she says most of her teenage years were spent on the show's set. "I feel so lucky to have been part of a show like that, that has lived on and makes people happy," Maureen says. Soon after the show ended, Maureen says she went back to high school and fell in with a crowd of girls who taught her to binge and purge on food. "It is very gross, but unfortunately it was not a turn-off for me," Maureen says. "I thought, 'Wow this is great.' And that is how it started and I got into it for 10 years."

Bulimia is just one unhealthy habit Maureen says she tried and overcame. In her 20s, Maureen says a boyfriend introduced her to cocaine and she took the drug for five years. She says coming clean with her past is therapeutic. "I am 50 and you know what? I feel like I have been hiding a lot of things and I don't want to hide anymore," Maureen says. "I want to be me and celebrate that."

While Maureen says she has an addictive personality, these days exercise is helping her stay on track. After recently losing her mother to cancer and dealing with other family problems, Maureen says she started to gain weight. "I really let myself go," she says. Maureen says to get into shape she joined the cast of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. "I think that we all know where our own best is and when we are feeling that," she says. With help from trainers, Maureen says she went from a size 10 to a size 6 and is now very comfortable with her weight.
