![]() Have you ever been in a room full of people who are engrossed in a musical or a play? The energy that actors and an audience can create is phenomenal. Dr. Robin says she recently experienced that excitement as she watched her niece perform in the musical Hair. She says the audience was gripped when the cast sang the song "Let the Sunshine In." "In that moment, the sun was so bright, the light of truth was so present, that hope was the thing that prevailed," she says.
Dr. Robin says the audience was diverse, but they were joined together by the spirit of the musical. "I left with a sense of hope," she says. "Today I want you to make the choice to let the sunshine in." Are you struggling, feeling depressed or despondent? Dr. Robin says it is time to walk out of the shadows and let the sunshine in. "You could decide right now to harp and focus on negativity and who has done you wrong and who hurt your feelings," she says. "Or you can turn your attention in a new direction and decide that you can you choose to let the sunshine in on you." Published on June 26, 2007
