The discussion turns to the present-day conflict in Iraq as the veterans express their longing for an end to the bloodshed and a call for peace.

Then, Congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich joins the show to talk about the Peace Alliance and the movement for a Department of Peace. Dennis has authored a plan that outlines how America might pull the troops out of Iraq in a way that would protect not only the security of our troops but of the Iraqi people. He is also sponsor and the original author of a bill to establish a United States cabinet level Department of Peace.
