Marianne Williamson
With the war in Iraq at the forefront of politics today, Marianne enlists the help of three Vietnam veterans to share their perspectives on war. From injuries sustained to wounds inflicted, each former soldier recounts what it was like to be an active participant of war. They also talk about the defining moments or spiritual awakenings that they experienced both on the battlefield and in the years following their tours of duty. The discussion turns to the present-day conflict in Iraq as the veterans express their longing for an end to the bloodshed and a call for peace.

Then, Congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich joins the show to talk about the Peace Alliance and the movement for a Department of Peace. Dennis has authored a plan that outlines how America might pull the troops out of Iraq in a way that would protect not only the security of our troops but of the Iraqi people. He is also sponsor and the original author of a bill to establish a United States cabinet level Department of Peace.
