At the end of your life, what will really matter? How do you want people to remember you? Dr. Robin says that you have the power to create your own legacy today. "You can decide that you are going to cultivate relationships right now, with the people who are most important to you, so at the end you feel good about the life you've lived," she says.
If you are holding a grudge or you are upset with someone in your family, Dr. Robin says that negativity could be a determining factor in how you will be remembered. If you don't want to be remembered as being unforgiving or angry, Dr. Robin says it is time to change your behavior. "The opportunity you have right now is that you are still alive," she says. "You've got to do things today so at the end the outcome is what you want."
By being gracious, kind and wise now, Dr. Robin says that you will be remembered as a gracious, kind and wise person. "At the end of your life, the only way we have the opportunity to leave this planet with honor, respect and dignity is to live today with honor and respect and dignity," Dr. Robin says.
