Katie Lee Joel, TV host and wife of musician Billy Joel, recently hired Nate to decorate her New York home. From a wall with flea-market picture frames filled with family photos to a 1930s dressing room, Nate says he tried to create a space that reflected Katie and Billy's taste.

Katie says her home is now perfect. "I feel like every day I get to wake up in a place that is exactly me," Katie says. The dressing room, which Katie says is her favorite, has the feel of a vintage French fashion house. "Everyone walks in here and their mouths just drop, it came out perfectly," she says. "I could see Coco Chanel hanging out on my chaise lounge looking at all of her clothes."

Katie says she became good friends with Nate during the redecorating process and that having solid relationships with people she works with is important. "You spend a lot of time with that person and it is my belief you shouldn't work with anyone you don't like," Katie says.
