As the radio show host of The Rachel Maddow Show on Air America Radio and a political analyst for MSNBC, Rachel Maddow appreciates the differences of television and radio as mediums for spreading her point of view.
"It's like being an essayist or fiction writer and then writing poetry," Rachel says. "So much of what is being said [on TV] is being conveyed with images that the words you use have to be much more precise; on the radio, it's more about words and more long-form."
