Jack, Ray and Leigh
They crashed weddings, lived it up in Vegas, met with Katrina survivors and experienced a Native American powwow…all on an 11-day, 3,600-mile trip across the United States. Oprah and Gayle's cross-county adventure could not have happened without the help of Harpo's production crew! Gayle welcomes Harpo Senior Producer Jack Mori, Senior Associate Producer Ray Dotch and Associate Producer Leigh Posner to talk about producing the grueling but exciting excursion!

It took a village to produce the five-show series, Jack says. With six vehicles and a total of 18 support staff, Jack says the crew that followed Oprah and Gayle across country were constantly scrambling to make sure things were in place. Although some things didn't go as planned, Jack, Ray and Leigh say it was a great experience.

"It's an honor to be a part of Oprah's worst experience ever," Jack jokes. "It was a tremendous experience. It gave us a perspective on the country that I never had. And even if Oprah was having a horrible time it's an honor to do it with her. Because when the legacy is written, 11 days straight with Oprah, it is a gift."
