![]() Do you crack jokes about people of a certain race or culture? Do you use derogatory words to describe people of a certain religion? Dr. Robin says it is time to start monitoring your words and thoughts. "There are ways in which hate against a culture, against a race, against a gender—against someone who thinks differently, looks differently and walks and acts differently than you—is being bred in you and won't die," she says.
If people can recognize any bias they have and decide to rid that hate from their lives, Dr. Robin says we can stop feeding the cycle of hate and it will die once and for all. "Watch your mind, watch your words, watch your actions, and change your life and change the world," she says. Published on June 18, 2007
