Get Your Stuff Together
Peter Walsh
Are you constantly running into clutter in your bedroom, basement or purse that you don't need but you can't seem to organize? Peter talks with callers about getting in touch with their needs and wants—then going through their mess and getting their stuff in order. Peter also talks with author Jennifer Louden who wrote the book The Life Organizer: A Woman's Guide to a Mindful Year.

Peter tells callers that focusing on what makes them happy and centered will help them take the steps they need to finish projects and get rid of clutter. "The stuff in your home reflects the stuff in your head," Peter says.

Author Jennifer Louden says she agrees with Peter's approach to organizing. In her book The Life Organizer: A Woman's Guide to a Mindful Year, Jennifer says she lists 52 weeks worth of questions for women to ask themselves to help them keep their lives in order. "I boiled it down to, what are the basic things you really need to have in place to stay in touch with yourself and live from the inside out?" she says. While the book is not a step-by-step guide, Jennifer says it helps women shift their moods and focus on relationships. From there, she says, clearing the clutter and getting their stuff together will become easier.
