If you want to make the most of love, you need to do your homework! Try Dr. Laura Berman's weekly homework assignment, designed to help you improve your relationships—both in and out of bed.
If you're in a relationship but are struggling in certain areas, take a break from the battles this week and concentrate on (or even celebrate!) all you have that's good. Forget (for this week, at least) all you're wishing for or what is falling short of your desires. This week is about what's good, not about what isn't. Pay attention to the language you use when talking or thinking about how satisfied you are with the love and relationship(s) in your life. Instead of lamenting, "My partner isn't..." or "My partner doesn't...," play up the good! Change your dialogue this week and try, "My partner is..." and "My partner does..."

If you're single, let go of all the theories about how you're sabotaging your chances for love in your life and celebrate what's great about being single. Remember, it's not about what you don't have or about comparing the condition of your life to anyone else's. Remind yourself this week about everything in your life that's good!
