Does your husband, father or son need to incorporate fitness into his life? Men who haven't worked out for several years and need to get in shape can be intimidated by "big box" gyms, but there is a nonthreatening solution. Dr. Oz talks with John Gennaro, founder of Cuts Fitness for Men and author of Cuts Fitness for Men: The Ultimate 30-Minute Workout, about making exercise easy for men who need to get in shape.

John says the typical guy who buys a membership at Cuts Fitness for Men isn't a bodybuilder or a gym rat—in fact, he probably hasn't been to a gym in years, if ever. "You are coming in probably 15 to 20 pounds overweight, you haven't worked out in a long time, haven't run for years," John says. "We create a 30-minute comprehensive program for you, which is a combination of cardiovascular and weight training."

Trainers at Cuts also take your measurements and blood pressure before you start the program, and John says they encourage men to do the 30-minute routine three times a week. He also says the program is fast paced and keeps customers engaged. "Every 40 seconds you are moving from one position to another position, you are getting your heart rate up to that maximum level," John says.

Most of the 75 Cuts locations are all male and the members are new to exercise routines. John says because of that, guys are comfortable at Cuts and are less likely to quit working out. "They are very passionate about the fitness program," he says. "Prior to that, they never had the opportunity to do this kind of fitness, and after they get it, it's just amazing the lives we change on this program."
