Oprah.com   |   February 10, 2009
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Charles Darwin, known to many as the father of evolutionary biology, was born 200 years ago on February 12, 1809. His research on the wildlife of the Galápagos Islands in South America had a major impact on his life's work and his theories on evolution and natural selection. Dr. Oz talks about his own recent trip to the Galápagos Islands and reflects on what Charles Darwin discovered there as a young scientist.
