Do you ever feel like you are in over your head? Dr. Robin talks about the importance of asking for help when you feel overwhelmed in life.
Many times we feel as though we have taken on too many responsibilities, leaving us overwhelmed, anxious and stressed. Dr. Robin says if you acknowledge the fact that you are in over your head, you can fix the problem and begin to lift the burden off of your shoulders.
After you admit to yourself that you're overwhelmed, Dr. Robin says find someone you can trust with the whole truth and tell them what's happening. "Part of what you need to do to get out of that situation is to not be in it in isolation," Dr. Robin says. "Talk to someone like a neighbor or therapist who is wise and can advise you."
