With Mother's Day approaching, Jean welcomes back author, columnist and mother of two Arianna Huffington to talk about new material in the latest edition of her book On Becoming Fearless…in Love, Work and Life.

As the mother of two teenage daughters, Arianna says she knows firsthand the importance of teaching young women to value themselves. Arianna says the new material in her book speaks directly to mothers and daughters. "The idea is to make it more of news you can use, information you can take and really apply to your life," she says.

Some of the fears Arianna says young women need to overcome revolve around body image. Arianna says both of her daughters have suffered from eating disorders and many young women struggle with comparing themselves to women they deem more beautiful and successful than themselves. "The truth is, if we want to play the comparison game, let's play it with people who are suffering in their lives and count our blessings," Arianna says.

While Arianna says she isn't a financial whiz, she does say teaching girls to be fearless with money from early on is important. "One of the things I have taught my daughters is to be really confident [with money]," she says. "The most important thing I feel money brings us is freedom. Freedom to make choices based on what we love rather then what we need to do—that is the greatest gift."
