Gayle King
You know him as Oprah's makeup artist, but Reggie Wells is Gayle's favorite guest because of his spirit and sense of humor! Gayle talks to Reggie about his recent effort to give up complaining and to laugh more and be happy.

Reggie says he has been wearing a purple bracelet for several weeks as a reminder to himself to not complain after Oprah singled him out as a complainer. Every time he utters a complaint, he has to change the wrist he wears it on. Reggie says the bracelet serves as a reminder to himself to complain less. "[What] we should try to do is take the complaint that we make and try to turn it into a positive thing," Reggie says. "You can complain about a lot of things, but if you can turn it around and know you are complaining for a reason, you can change," Reggie says.

Now that he is cutting down on his complaining, Reggie says Oprah sent him to a laughing yoga class. The laughing yoga class was a one-of-a-kind experience that Reggie says made him feel great. "These people [in the class] started hugging me and shouting and clapping their hands," Reggie says. "We had to laugh at the same time. We could think depression but we had to laugh, and I think it is a really valid thing to do."

Reggie says Oprah also had him take a happiness test, which indicated he is never satisfied with what he has. Reggie takes issue with the test, and says he is a happy person. "I couldn't get this far without being happy," he says. "I will tell you right now, everything I have wished for or asked for I have always gotten it, because I have always made that attempt in my life."
