Entertaining audiences for more than 50 years, Diahann Carroll is one of seven African-American women to be nominated for an Oscar. She also is well known for her roles on TV shows like Dynasty and Julia. Diahann talks with Dr. Angelou about her memoir, The Legs Are the Last to Go: Aging, Acting, Marrying, and Other Things I Learned the Hard Way. Diahann also talks about her career, her love life and her passion for entertaining. "I feel honored that I was given this opportunity," Diahann says. "It gave me a life that I couldn't have enjoyed without having this honor placed upon me."
