About Rodney A former professional football player, Rodney Peete began his career at the University of Southern California, where he was recognized as the nation's best senior quarterback in 1988, winning the Johnny Unitas Award. He enjoyed a 16-season career in the NFL during which time he played for the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders and Carolina Panthers before retiring at the end of the 2004 season. Rodney is also a former co-host of The Best Damn Sports Show Period on Fox Sports Net.
