Jane Olson has dedicated her life to fighting for international social justice. As the chair of Human Rights Watch's board of directors, she's been a witness to the horrors of war around the world and continues to monitor the human injustices happening in war-torn countries.
Jane talks with Marianne about her work and shares some of the stories of survival and forgiveness that she has heard from victims of war, including refugees who were raped and maimed in the ethnic cleansing of the former Yugoslavia. Jane also talks about raising awareness of the violence against women taking place in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
