After NFL player Kevin Everett sustained a catastrophic spinal injury during a game, it was widely believed he would never walk again. Yet after receiving treatment that included an experimental "cold therapy" procedure and enduring months of grueling rehabilitation, Kevin was back on his feet and able to walk.
Dr. Andrew Cappuccino, an orthopedic spinal surgeon and Buffalo Bills team physician, was one of the first physicians on the scene and played an important role in Kevin's recovery.
