![]() A movable feast of a book, The Wedding Album, lovingly compiled by Alice Harris (PowerHouse), celebrates weddings from Tokyo to Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, from Windsor Castle to Disney World. The getups alone—Grace Kelly's high-necked, pearl-studded fantasy, Brigitte Bardot's missile-accomplished bustier—are hugely entertaining. So are some unconventional ceremonies such as nudist nuptials (she wears a veil and a garter; he sports a top hat). A French bride with an expression of rapture takes a long last drag on her cigarette before tying the knot—evidence that love conquers nearly all.
