Away We Go movie

Office cutie John Krasinski and SNL alumna Maya Rudolph star in the new comedy-drama Away We Go as Burt and Verona, who embark on a soul-searching American odyssey before their baby is born. Though the couple aims to put down roots, every stop leaves them feeling unmoored, whether they're visiting Burt's flaky parents (Catherine O'Hara and Jeff Daniels), Verona's spectacularly uncouth ex-coworker (Allison Janney), or Burt's hippie-dippy childhood friend (the wonderful Maggie Gyllenhaal), who leaves vapor trails of incense and pseudo–New Age gobbledygook wherever she roams. With a screenplay by husband-and-wife team Dave Eggers (A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius) and Vendela Vida (Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name), Away We Go is a bittersweet, often hilarious look at the meaning of home.
