FFAWN's mission is to inspire women from all walks of life to gain the confidence and skills they need to reach their individual potential. We accomplish our mission to empower and encourage women by shaping and supporting programs that foster education, career development, strong self-esteem and personal growth. We aim to serve as a helping hand that allows women to gain access to the resources they need to become the women they want to be. Monies raised during LYBLW will directly benefit the Mary J. Blige Center for Women in Yonkers, NY, the students at The Women's Academy of Excellence in Bronx, NY, our 3E Workshops after-school enrichment program for The Harlem Children's Zone and our Scholarship fund.
