South-Pacific pearls drip from the chandelier at the entrance to the recently remodeled Dorchester Spa, which houses the Spatisserie, Relaxation Room and Fitness Studio.
You'll spend four nights in an Executive Deluxe Double Guestroom, which features the deepest bathtubs in London.
The package includes a private tasting experience for two at the Krug Room kitchens, where executive chef Henry Brosi will pair each dish with wine and Champagne. In September 2009, the room was renovated with a sleek and contemporary design.
The package includes a behind-the-scenes peek at the recently redesigned spa, as well as the restaurant, kitchen, florist and more. The Dorchester is part of Open House London, a special annual city-wide event.
The Dorchester is across the street from Hyde Park, which is home to concerts and the Diana Memorial Fountain, built in 2004 to honor the late Princess Diana. The park will also host the triathlon and the 10K Open Water Swim in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Bring photos of your home's interior with you, and over tea in the Spatisserie, Design Director Martin Hulbert, who supervised the creation of the new Dorchester Spa, will make suggestions for bringing out the best in your space, as well as a list of shops to visit for design inspiration. (The hotel will provide a car and driver for an afternoon to help you get to them.)
