![]() One Hundred Years of Solitude
An Oprah's Book Club selection By Gabriel García Márquez I found this book on my mother's shelf when I was in high school. It's hard to pick a favorite among his novels, but this was special because I read it first. You can smell where you are in his stories. You can feel it, you can taste it, and you can touch it. Every time I opened this novel, I fell into a time warp and into Colombia at the turn of the last century.
