The Dirt's Early July Update

A flower grows on the pickling cucumber's bushy vine...or is it a viny bush? You can't really see it, but there's probably 20 or 30 flowers all over the cucumber plant. On the one hand, if all those flowers are pollinated and actually grow into cukes that will be a real bumper crop. On the other hand, I've got pickle recipe I've been dying to try.
