Julie Morgenstern, author of Organizing from the Inside Out
, helped Nate keep Oprah's belongings organized and easily retrievable while in storage. How'd she do it?
Special Thanks: Roscor Corporation for services and equipment used to decorate Ms. Winfrey's office. Kehoe Designs and Heffernan Morgan, Inc. for flower arrangements and bouquets provided to the show.
- Julie divided the room and its contents into zones: bookshelves, picture frames, desk contents, etc. Each zone was given a different colored sticker.
- Before anything was packed, Julie took two photos. Every box was labeled with a zone sticker and picture of what was inside.
- The second photo went into a "catalogue": a binder to keep track of what you have and where it is!
