Add more lamps—you can have between three and five in just one room.

Add more decorative pillows and art to liven up a room.

Add space to a room with a three-dimensional wall decoration, like a sconce.

Art does not have to be hung around the perimeter of the room at eye-level. Stack art at least once in a room, or group four to five pieces together.
