Kate Spade's weekend home

Her Southampton Home
Welcome to Southampton, New York where accessory designer Kate Spade keeps a weekend home. "My husband Andy and I bought this home almost ten years ago. It's just the most charming thing I've ever seen."
Living room

Living Room
Kate decorated the living room using cheerful, bright green paint on the walls. Shades of raspberry are offset with black and white.
Chair

Chair
A wicker chair pulls the theme together. It's an antique style, but complemented by these cheery colors, it looks fresh and modern.

Dining table

Table Setting
Kate's dining table is decked out with colorful pieces from her home line. "I love the idea of mixing a brightly colored main course plate with a black and white dot salad plate," she says. "Everyone today, I think, loves the idea of mixing."
Patio

Back Patio
Beyond the French doors of the dining room lies the back patio. Inspired by a '50s-era photograph of Robert Evans' Beverly Hills home, Kate mixes and matches color. "It was the idea of mixing the cushions, which I just thought was darling," she explains.
Guest room

Guest Room
Kate's guest room features everything that her guests would need to feel at home: short-story collections, pajamas, slippers, fresh towels, and toiletries like sunscreen and shaving cream.

"I want to spend more time with my guests," Kate says of these added touches. "I don't want them out traveling for necessities."
