Table setting with bird theme

By bringing the outdoors in—to a room, a shelf, a table—the cold winds of winter are summarily dismissed in favor of spring's soft sunlight and balmy breezes. Beautifully feathered birds can inspire an entire place setting.

Tablecloth is made from Barranquilla cotton-print fabric from Brunschwig & Fils; gold-rimmed charger, Anna Weatherley; dinner plate and bread-and-butter plate from Herend; Twigware fork and knife (a five-piece place setting,) Michael Aram; silk napkin, ABH Design); porcelain sparrow, Summer House on green water glass, Baccarat; bronze bird's nest, Sur la Table; and bluebird figurine, Lladro.
