The first step towards getting organized is building your confidence! Start by identifying how you're already organized—remember, you're not starting from scratch, you're building on your successes! Just by doing this, you're already a valuable member of the Clutter Buddy community.

Remember Julie's definition of being organized: Organizing has nothing to do with being neat. If you can find what you need when you need it, and are comfortable in your space, then you're organized.

Get in touch with your organized self! Start by answering these questions.

1. Name at least one aspect of your life that is already well organized. This can be as small as a drawer, or as big as your thoughts and ideas.

2. What works about this system? Why have you been able to sustain it?

3. Was there a time in your life where you felt better organized than you do now? Describe it.

4. How were things arranged then? Are there any systems you no longer use? What are they?
