Trouble getting sexually aroused
If you are experiencing difficulties with arousal, problems with sex drive, pain during sex, or problems achieving orgasm, you may find some comfort in knowing that you are not alone. According to the results of a national survey published in The Journal of the American Medical Association , 43 percent of all women 18 to 59 years old suffer from some type of sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction is a medical term that is used to describe people who have one or more of the following characteristics: lack of desire for sex, problems getting excited or aroused, or an inability to achieve orgasm.
