American Idol judge and music industry titan Randy Jackson spent years of his life overweight until undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2003. It was then that he finally made his health a top priority. He lost more that 100 pounds from the surgery, was able to stop taking his medication for type 2 diabetes and developed a healthier lifestyle.
