Bob says that if you're not hungry when you wake up in the morning, it may actually be a sign that your metabolism is "just kind of limping along." To kick-start your metabolism, you're going to have to become more active, he says. Once you start working out the way you should be, he says you'll wake up with a proper appetite.

Forget about food for a moment, and look at ways you can become more active, Bob says. "That dictates how and what you should be eating and how much you should be eating," he says. Watch less TV, spend less time on your computer, rely less on your car and try to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week. "Make that commitment to yourself; give yourself that gift," Bob says.
How can I launch a career in the health and fitness industry?
If you're passionate about health and fitness, enjoy working with people and have great communication skills, Bob says a career as a personal trainer might be right for you. For starters, he recommends getting certified by ACE, the American Council on Exercise. To take your career to the next level, Bob says you'll need to go back to school for your RD, which is a registered dietician credential.
