Research shows that women have more—not to mention more fulfilling—orgasms as they get older, says Debby Herbenick, a research scientist at Indiana University. In an analysis of 3,990 adults ages 18 to 59, she and other sex researchers found that an impressive 70 percent of women in their 40s and 50s were sent into orbit the last time they had sex—which was higher than the number of happy postcoital customers in their early 20s.
