From my experience, you are not the best mother, daughter, wife, sister or friend if you have depleted yourself. When you feel exhausted, resentment starts to build up, and the sick or disabled one can sense it. You may be the best one to care for your loved one, but most likely, you are not the only one who can keep them feeling cared for and safe. Taking "you" time is crucial and should be guilt free!
