Test This: Stand StrongMore than half of all women over 60 will break a bone as a result of osteoporosis, but you don't have to be among them. Assess your risk with a bone mineral density test, which measures the level of calcium in your hips, wrists, or spine; the lower the concentration, the more delicate your bones. If, like 27 percent of women in their 60s, you discover you have osteoporosis, talk to your doctor about treatments that can help keep you fracture-free. From the January 2013 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine
