Rabbi Shmuley Boteach

Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a developmental disorder mostly affecting children. It is characterized by constant inattention and lack of concentration. As more children are diagnosed with the disorder, Rabbi Shmuley expresses his concerns that society is too quick to diagnose ADHD, and even quicker to medicate it. He talks with ADHD expert Dr. Vatsal Thakker about the possible causes and symptoms of the disorder, and about existing treatments and therapies.

Today's Shmuleyism
"Medication is never a substitution for responsible moral action or behavior and should be used as a last resort."
