Ingredients 1 cup sugar1/4 cup shortening2 eggs6 Tbsp. cocoa1/4 cup black coffeeDash sea salt1/4 cup cake meal1/4 cup potato starch1 cup nuts , chopped (optional)1 bag marshmallows for topping
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream sugar and shortening, and add eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and coffee and add to mixture. Blend in the rest of ingredients. Bake in a greased 9-inch pan at 325° for 25 minutes.
Spread a few marshmallows on top of brownies and place in the oven under broil for 5 minutes, until marshmallows are slightly burnt.
Let cool and cut into bars.
