These luscious brownies will have everyone at the dinner table asking for seconds!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 cup black coffee
  • Dash sea salt
  • 1/4 cup cake meal
  • 1/4 cup potato starch
  • 1 cup nuts , chopped (optional)
  • 1 bag marshmallows for topping
  • Directions
    Preheat oven to 325°. Cream sugar and shortening, and add eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and coffee and add to mixture. Blend in the rest of ingredients. Bake in a greased 9-inch pan at 325° for 25 minutes.

    Spread a few marshmallows on top of brownies and place in the oven under broil for 5 minutes, until marshmallows are slightly burnt.

    Let cool and cut into bars.
